Frequently Asked Questions
Price: Will my internet price change once I arrive at the dealership? No, your price will remain the same but to simplify the process print the quote you received from the internet manager and bring it with you.
Credit Union: Can I buy a car from Boulevard and finance it through my credit union? Yes, you can and you can do it at the dealership. We are signed up with a Credit Union service that represents over 20 local credit unions. You sign only one contract, save the trip to their office and we forward all of the paper work to them for you. You make your payment to your credit union just the same. Boulevard also has access to 20 different lenders that offer very competitive rates and that is not counting the special incentive rates from General Motors financing arm.
Warranty: What kind of warranty comes with my New Vehicle? All 2007 or newer Pontiac and GMC vehicles have a standard 3 year 36,000 mile warranty and all 2007 or newer Buick's have a 4 year and 50,000 mile warranty but all have the 100,000 mile Power Train warranty that covers all the major components like the engine and transmission.
If I buy my accessories through Boulevard, does the warranty cover the accessories too? Yes, if you purchase your accessories at the time of purchase your new accessories will have a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty on Pontiac's and GMC and a 4 year, 50,000 mile warranty on Buick’s. If you purchase the accessories for your vehicle at a later date from our parts department the accessories with be covered for a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty even though we installed them for you. We highly recommend that you do it at time of purchase for a few reasons, one the warranty but the most important one is the ease of financing , by including it in the transaction you also get the same good interest instead of the high interest that most credit cards are charging.
Leasing: What are the advantages of leasing a vehicle versus purchasing? Now a days people enjoy having a new car every 3 years, who wouldn’t? When leasing a car, it gives you flexibility of having a new car every few years. When you are ready for a new car you then have four options: Return it, Trade it in, purchase your lease or sell it on your own to a private party. Also, if you are a business owner leasing is a great tax write off. Consult your Tax Advisor for more details.
Trade-in: Does Boulevard accept all makes and models as trade-ins? Yes, we do accept all makes and models as trade in vehicles. We have a great and knowledgeable staff of employees that we be able to give you a reasonable price for it. Better yet go to our home page and click on the trade-in button to get an estimated value. Like all other dealers we use the services of Kelly Blue Book to determine a fair market value.
Will I get more for my trade if I sell my car myself? Yes, you will receive more for your trade only if you do not factor in the worth of your time. Your nights and some of your day will be focused on trying to find that perfect buyer for your vehicle. Don't forget to also add the time you will have to wait for his financing to be approved, the amount spent on the advertising and the liability of having numerous strangers drive your car. Last but not least your safety. In today’s world have a few strangers driving your vehicle while you are riding as a passenger might not be the best for your safety.
Body Shop: Does the Boulevard Collision Center work on all makes and models? Yes, the Boulevard Collision Center does work on all makes and models. From a Volkswagen to a Ferrari (The Ferrari is a car we have not had the pleasure of working on yet but it is our dream too...hint hint!) We also accept all major insurance companies.
Survey: I received a survey in the mail, what should I do with it? After purchasing a New vehicle from us or bringing your vehicle in for service, General Motors sends out a survey so they can compare 3 different areas, 1st how well you were served by the sales consultant or advisors, 2nd Satisfaction with the Dealership and 3rd how well the vehicle is performing. It is very important to both us and General Motors that you fill this survey or as we call it our "report card". If for some reason you were completely satisfied with your sales consultant but not with someone else at the dealership or the vehicle, please make sure to give your sales consultant the grade he deserves and voice you concern in the appropriate section. The reason it is so important is that we use these recommendations to improve the experience for your next visit and General Motors use the information to improve the next models.
Service: What if I can not make it to your service department during your business hours to drop off my vehicle for service? We know that many of our customers work during our business hours and might not be able to drop off their car for service while the service personnel is here, so we have came up with the "Early Bird Drop Off". Between the hours of 7pm-9pm you can pull your vehicle to our service drive and lock it up then fill out a special envelope with your contact information, vehicle information seal your keys in the envelope and drop the envelope into the secured slot! The next morning the advisors will contact about the repairs and a time for pick-up. It is so easy and so convenient again a recommendation from one of our customers.
